Everything about ordering, membership, paper stock, files and delivery. If your question is not here, the studio answers email within one working day.
Every print is made to order, so nothing sits in a warehouse. Printing and framing take 4 to 6 working days in the studio. Once the piece leaves us, UK delivery is 2 days by DPD, Europe is 3 to 5 days, and the rest of the world is 5 to 9 days by FedEx. You get a tracking number the moment the label is printed.
Yes, if you tell us within 12 hours of ordering. Reply to your confirmation email with the change and we will move it before the file goes to the printer. After 12 hours the paper is usually already cut, and a swap becomes a return rather than an edit.
It means only 25 prints of that image will ever be made at that size, and yours is the first one released. When the twenty fifth sells, the edition closes permanently and the work moves to the archive. It is never reprinted at that size, in any finish. Your certificate carries the same number as the pencil mark on the print.
You have 30 days from delivery. Send it back in the original corner protectors and we refund the print in full, minus return postage. Open edition prints only. Limited editions and digital files are final sale, since the edition number cannot be returned to the run.
On the first of each month a credit lands in your account. Pick any open edition work in the gallery, including the members-only pieces, choose your size up to Medium at 16 by 20 inches, choose black or white moulding, and check out at zero. Shipping is included.
No. The credit expires at midnight on the last day of the month and a fresh one appears the next morning. It is one print per month, not a balance that stacks up. We send a reminder on the 24th if yours is still sitting unclaimed.
Access runs to the end of the period you already paid for, then the locked works go back behind frosted glass. Editions you bought outright stay in your account for good. Prints you already ordered are unaffected. Rejoin later and the vault opens again straight away.
No. Your 20 percent applies to the regular price, and the checkout automatically gives you whichever is cheaper on the day. During the two studio sales we run each year the sale price usually wins, so members are never worse off, just never doubly discounted.
Black and white work is printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta, 315gsm, a cotton rag with a faint sheen that holds deep blacks without going glossy. Colour fashion work goes on Canson Platine Fibre Rag, 310gsm. Both are acid free and rated beyond 100 years under normal indoor light.
On the back, in graphite, lower right. Sade signs the verso so nothing competes with the image inside the mat window. The edition number sits beside the signature, and the certificate tucked behind the backing board repeats both.
Small is 11 by 14 inches, Medium is 16 by 20, Large is 24 by 30, and Statement is 36 by 44. Sizes refer to the framed outer dimension. Every piece carries a 5.5 percent mat border, so the visible image is a touch smaller than the frame.
Solid ash moulding, either stained near black or painted off white, cut and joined in the studio. Glazing is 2mm anti reflective acrylic rather than glass, which cuts 99 percent of UV and survives couriers far better. Everything arrives strung and ready to hang.
A digital edition lives in your account, like a private gallery. The moment you pay, the piece is yours to open on any of your devices, unblurred, any time, forever. Nothing is downloaded and nothing can be lost, and buying a framed print of a piece includes its digital edition automatically.
No, and that is deliberate. The full-quality files never leave the studio, which is how the work stays protected and editions keep their value. You view your editions in your account, and if you want a piece on your wall, the framed print is made from the full-quality file.
Editions you bought outright stay in your account for good. Pieces you could see through the membership return behind the blur when the paid month ends, and reappear the moment you rejoin.
We ship to 41 countries. Orders over 200 dollars ship free worldwide, and members ship free with no minimum at all. Sizes up to Large travel flat in a rigid board sandwich. Statement pieces go crated on a pallet and take about a week longer.
The recipient does. Duty and local tax are set by your country and collected by the courier before delivery, so we cannot include them at checkout or estimate them accurately. Original artwork often attracts a reduced rate, and every parcel is declared as such.
Photograph the outer box and the piece, then email both to the studio within 7 days. We remake and reship at our cost, no return needed. It happens on well under 1 percent of orders, but acrylic glazing and corner blocks exist precisely because couriers are couriers.
Open Account, then Billing, then Manage card. That opens our payment provider's secure page where you can add a new card or change the expiry. Nobody at the studio can see or enter card numbers on your behalf, so please do not send them by email.
Account, then Membership, then Pause or Cancel. A pause holds your place for up to 3 months with no charge and no print credit. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Neither needs an email to us and neither has a fee.
The gallery includes artistic nude and topless photography. It is fine art, shot and printed as such, but it is adult work and the law treats it that way. The age gate appears once per device and we store nothing beyond a yes.
